Christmas and New Year in Cesenatico 2024-2025

Cesenatico awaits you to spend the Christmas celebration together.

From 1 December to 12 January 2025 the magic of Christmas in Cesenatico lights up with the 39th edition of the Nativity Scene of the Navy , the floating Nativity scene on the ancient boats of the Maritime Museum.
Inauguration show Sunday 1 December at 5pm.

Every year the Nativity scene is enriched with a new statue and a new character. From the 7 figures with which they debuted in 1986, today the sculptural heritage consists of around fifty statues.

The figures are designed as elements of a representation, to be seen from the banks of the Leonardesco Canal Port as from a theater audience; illuminated, because in the Nativity scene it is the lights that give life to the figures and punctuate the story. And it is precisely as evening falls that the Nativity Scene of the Navy lights up, as if a curtain were opening.
